After the Holiday

Has this happened to anyone. I had a great four days of fun, laughing and visiting. You know all the things that color our memories and than just alittle sadness comes. It all worth the energy put into the Holiday but I get just a little let down afterwords and this weathers not really helping. It's good to be around people who know and understand all my obsessions and sense of humor. April Showers I guess.

Sometimes after being really happy I get sad… is like a balance in nature… the same with holidays :)) too bad we can not be butterflies living in a permanent holiday :))) Hugs…
Me, too. It's kind of like the tide coming in, going out. Nature is never still, always flowing…
That day of rain might have been for you to rest and relive the previous few days of laughter, joy and visiting. Sometimes, I look at those moments of sadness as sadness rather then just times to reflect on what was happy just a moment ago. :) Hugs you, thank you for sharing yourself.
“April showers bring May flowers”. I see all the daffodils about to bloom, hyacinths already perfuming the air, tulips poking leaves through
just coming over in case you need a hug… very natural feelings
Wow, I like your painting a lot Jean! I can feel the rain in that piece, not only the rain but all the memories that the rain washes up, there is a kind of glaring clarity to that feeling of empty, all that bright happy color is moving left off of the picture plane, leaving just the blue gray rain and the music that makes.
Thank you I love that you all get this painting. It is part of a calendar I hope to finish soon. April Showers, is knowing that no matter what happens outside you have all the love and joy you need inside yourself.
