Clraring out the clutter

Posted on Feb 28th, 2009 by HeartBeat : seeker of strenght, courage and wisdom HeartBeat
Yes, the week end is here and my first job is to clear out the clutter. I'm going to make room for new stuff, new adventures and new people to enter my life. Learning to breath deeply is good too. So I hope all of you have wonderful fun events planned for you week end
Loving life.

Oooooo - spring cleaning!!!  (Too early up here in Connecticut! - winter storm watch for tomorrow night, 2-4 inches of snow expected…)  Will wait to open the windows and breathe in the warm spring air and get rid of the excess stuff.  Glad you’re enjoying it!

Jean,

Not that I’ve gotten anything done but I’ve made it my mantra for this entire year of 2009.  It is clear to me that we are in a macro cycle of getting rid of the “dead wood” in our national psyche and at the more individual level.  I don’t mean those words in a negative sense, at the moment having just experienced the ‘death’ of a loved one, I recoil at that word, preferring to say they have passed from being physically present in my life.

But just as the wave that comes in, goes out and the leaves that sprout, fall to the ground, so there are other cycles and we are in one.

As a small gift during the holidays I was given a Christmas tree kit!! It came with a tiny tiny green pot and 3 seeds. Not having much faith I planted it and now and than watered it, rescued it from being tipped over by my cat. And wouldn’t you know it one of the seeds sprouted!!!Yippee!! This tells me that faith and guiding angels watch over us daily and give us miricles even when we fall short of belief.  Now to the part that you inspired in me. If I can grow one christmas tree, why can’t I grow a whole christmas tree farm and leave that for the next generation of my family. I now only have to convince my husband that we need to do that with our acre and a half land. I have a lot to learn from my friends here at Gaia!!
